Jeremy L Rose
(July 24, 1975 - January 22, 2010)
Jeremy L Rose, 34, of Rexburg, died January 22, 2010 in Hawaii from injuries suffered in a construction accident. He was born July 24, 1975 in Rexburg to Kenneth Dean and Hazel Margret Schneiter Rose. He attended school in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School in 1994.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an Eagle Scout.
He married Kristene Marie Jackson on November 29, 1996 in Rexburg.
He was a great leader and his abilities led him to being a foreman for the past ten and a half years. He enjoyed his work and the people he worked with - his “Sure Steel” family. He was willing to do and help anyone with anything.
He enjoyed hunting with his dad and brothers, four-wheeling, camping. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could build or fix anything. He enjoyed collecting tractors, guns, and landscaping. He was a great son, wonderful brother and fun-loving uncle. He loved to tease his nieces and nephews. His giggle was his trademark. Most of all he was an amazing husband and father. He will be missed dearly by many people.
He is survived by his wife Kristene, children Dustin Goebel, Amanda Rose, Brindy Rose all of Rexburg; parents Kenneth and Hazel Rose of Rexburg; siblings Harold (Tammy) Rose of Ririe, Cody Rose of Rexburg, Anna (Tony) Jensen of Richmond, Utah, Tammie (Zack) Harris of Rexburg, Mitchel Rose of Rexburg, Robert (Melissa) Rose of Rexburg, Emily (Brandon) Bowcutt of Idaho Falls, Sandra (Brandon) Briggs of Rexburg, Sgt. Thane (Tracy) Rose of Germany; sisters-in-law Trish (Dan) Kissel of Rexburg, Gloria (Marshall) King of Los Angeles, California, mother-in-law Jeanette Moe; grandparents Llewellyn and Edith Rose of Greensborough, Maryland, Richard and Ruth Abbott of Odisfield, Maine, 26 nieces and nephews with three more on the way. He was preceded in death by a sister Crystal Rose, grandparents Ervin and Artella Schneiter, father-in-law Archie Moe, grandmother-in-law Betty Lee Stewart.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the Archer LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Archer LDS Church and again from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
