Happy Birthday Dad!!

Dad is back in the hospital for at least another 2 or 3 days. He is having a leak of some kind but the doctors can not seem to figure out where it is coming from. They have taken multiple scans and can not see anything so, they have taken the liquid down to the lab to be tested to see exactly what it is. They think that it is bile, but since they can not find the problem area they are doing more testing. Today is my dads 52nd birthday. I talked to him today while he was laying in his bed. I told him that I wished he was here instead of there. His response was, well I'm actually glad I'm here, having birthdays is a great thing. If being here means that I get to have more birthdays then I'm okay with it. He joked about how great it is that both him and my mom have the day off and that they get to spend all day together. My mom has been such a great support to my dad all of these years. She deserves all the time she wants to spend with my dad, I am glad they get to be together on this day. He mentioned that they may even take a walk down to the gift shop! I'm glad you're having birthdays too dad, love you, hope you have a great day.
