Things are Looking Up!

Dad was taken out of the ICU on Sunday and is doing so much better. He said that he finally feels like he is recovering. With all of the infection that was in him, he never really felt like he was getting better, but now he does. The doctors still do not know what caused his heart attacks but they think they have figured out a solution. My dad's body has always really reacted to every drug that they have given him so, after the heart problems they decided to take away all medications, except for the anti-rejection pill, that he has to have, and they started adding them back one at a time. They watched to see how his body reacted to each pill and then adjusted them as they went along. It was along two days of adding and taking away medications but they tihnk they finally have the right combination. He is walking around a lot more and they think he may be able to go back to the condo by the weekend. We are hoping that this was the last of the complications. We can't thank the amazing doctors and nurses enough for all of their hard work. They had almost every doctor and nurse on the floor working on my dad's case when the heart had problems so, we are very grateful for the dedication!
