Update 2/5/2010

Dad was released from the hospital today! He has to stay in Utah near the hospital for about 3 more weeks while the doctors monitor his liver closely. My grandparents have a condo in Utah that they will comfortably be staying at. As of now, his liver numbers are perfect, but the first 3 months are critical for the possibility of rejection. He is feeling great but still having to take some pain medication but, it is much less then before. He went off of pain meds. for 3 days thinking he would be fine, but then ended up paying for it so thus, back on the pain meds. He is excited to be out of the hospital but was so grateful for the wonderful help he received there. We can't wait until he gets to come home!!
